Father Weslin, was twice arrested at the University of Notre Dame during commencement week. His arrests are captured on YouTube and have been viewed over 200,000 times. Father Weslin was first arrested as he carried a cross and prayed aloud while walking onto campus. The second arrest occurred when Father Weslin was praying the rosary and carrying a banner of Our Lady of Guadalupe onto campus. Father Norman U. Weslin, O.S. was in St. Joseph Superior Court today (6/8/09) to be arraigned on these charges. With regard to the arrests at Notre Dame and the current prosecutions of the same, Father Weslin issues the following statement:
A person who comes to Notre Dame to pray for the right to life cannot be a trespasser.
We are not protesters, we are lay and religious Christians bearing witness to the truth of life.
We don't want Notre Dame to irrevocably lose its Catholic identity. We want her to return to her rightful place as Our Lady's University and our premiere Catholic Institution of higher learning.
Cardinal George is right. Notre Dame has lost its understanding of what it means to be Catholic. We, as the Church's faithful servants, are trying to restore that understanding to Notre Dame, so it will again possess the grace to be a great Catholic Christian Institution.
Father Jenkins has said that he personally, and the University of Notre Dame as an institution, believe in the importance of dialogue. We have sought dialogue with Father Jenkins on these issues that are core to our shared faith. Our Pope has identified the right to life as an absolute and fundamental tenet of our faith. To date, Father Jenkins has refused our request to meet, opting instead to let the legal system insulate him from dialogue with his brother and sister members of the mystical body of Christ. We again call on Father Jenkins to meet with us to try to heal these wounds and to explore ways to prayerfully move forward in reclaiming Notre Dame's Catholic identity.

The Gathering of the Lambs
Father NormanU. Weslin, O.S., a missionary priest to the unborn child, formed The Lambs of Christ in August of l988 as a team of "Non-violent Victim Souls" to join in the effort to stop satan from killing Jesus Christ's babies while they are still helpless in their mothers' wombs.
The Lambs of Christ have never been violent. We never react to physical provocations. We unite ourselves to our Leader, Jesus Christ, in an effort to raise the social consciousness of the people in our society as to the horrors of abortion. We are after the hearts. Our beloved former Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, asked us to stand up for life when he came to Denver in 1993. He said to us:
"America - Defend Life!! " He said.
"America - Woe to you if you do not succeed in defending Life!!" He said.
"America - You must come out of your comfortable lifestyles now - and you must come out into the streets and into the public places - and you must shout The Gospel of Life from the rooftops!!" He said.
"Do not be afraid," he said. "Jesus Christ is with you!!"
He also said, early on: "We must come into solidarity with the victim - the Unborn Child!!"
And our beloved Holy Father stated very emphatically at Fatima that: "Whenever human life is threatened -- we will stand up!!"
Our Holy Father brought down satan in Russia and in Poland. It was all over for satan on that day in Red Square - after seventy years of domination of the Russian people under his atheistic ideology.
Similarly, "the presence of the masses" - the mental impact of large crowds of people with a prayerful, peaceful presence in front of the killing centers - carrying their personalized signs -- serves to convey their statement of protest against the horrors of the mass murder of our children inside that killing center. This type of presence sends a very positive and effective message to those who do the killing.
That same "presence of the masses" which took place in Russia and Poland can also happen here - in our beloved country - and put an end to the horrors of abortion here. Satanic people like Leroy Carhart, Bellevue, Nebraska abortionist, can be converted. Doctor Nathanson was converted - after he realized that he was responding to satanic influence by his killing of 75,000 of Jesus Christ's helpless, unborn children. He is now a baptized Roman Catholic - doing many good things to stop satan from killing Jesus Christ's babies.
There is no doubt now - with the evil that now prevails - that Jesus, our High Priest and Leader, is asking us to come out into the streets to defend life. It is very clear that an active response to satan's macabre killing of Jesus Christ's young children is no longer something to be regarded as "just a good thing to do" but is now "a crucial imperative!!"
LIFE is not just one of the many issues. It is the whole thing. It is the "umbrella" over all the issues. Without LIFE, the issues are meaningless. If we don't care about LIFE, we could then care less whether or not the roads are being paved.
LIFE IS PARAMOUNT !!
We urge you to stand up for LIFE! Pray in front of abortion killing centers to stop the violence! Urge your Senators, Congressional representatives, legislators - anyone who can change this senseless massacre - to stop abortion now! PRAY, PRAY, PRAY like you never have before. Sacrificial prayer as a victim soul in front of abortion killing centers is very effective - go out daily, weekly, even monthly - whatever your schedule will allow, and pray. We need you out there! Our great country is under the influence of satan in allowing the killing of innocent babies while they are still helpless in their mothers' wombs. America, defend life!!!
We Lambs of Christ were very shocked to hear of the death of abortionist George Tiller. We offer our sincere condolences to his family. We do not advocate the taking of any life, no matter what the circumstance. God is the author and creator of all life, and as such He should decide when anyone will leave this earth. As Cardinal Justin Rigali, on behalf of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, stated, "... killing is the opposite of everything we stand for, and everything we want our culture to stand for: respect the life of each and every human being from its beginning to its natural end." We could not have said it any better. We do not advocate killing of any kind - not from abortion, euthanasia, violence, war, or any other evil. It is unfortunate that a misguided soul felt he needed to resort to killing.
The Lambs of Christ are non-violent victim souls for Jesus Christ. Our main focus is to pray outside abortion facilities to try to stop satan from killing Jesus Christ' babies while they are still helpless in their mothers' wombs. We never react to physical provocations, and we are known to become helpless victim souls as a way of uniting ourselves to the helpless baby being killed by abortion. Violence serves no purpose.
